My Open December 2020 Newsletter to my Ministry Supporters-Thank you for Continuing your faithful Contributions!
This is William Earnhardt and 2020 has been filled with amazing challenges and amazing miracles! Like so many other pastors, lay pastors and Bible Workers we have been working hard encouraging people to continue growing in Christ even while many churches have moved to online church services and the “assembling or ourselves together” for edification and encouragement has taken on new challenges. Giving families the tools and coaching they need to be the priests of their home and making their home a church has been more crucial than ever this year. I never imagined that one day I would be performing baptisms while wearing masks. But these baptisms are beautiful all the same!

One of the amazing miracles is that while 2020 has seen many financial trials, thanks to God and faithful supporters my Bible Worker fund never let me miss a paycheck. I intentionally never sent out a fundraiser newsletter until now as during the year I realized there were so many worthy needs this year while God was faithfully supplying all of my needs. At the same time I now find it prudent to remind everyone of my need of continued monthly support so I can continue sharing the Gospel in the Florida area and around the world in 2021. I thank God for those who have continued to support this ministry since day one. Some are no longer able to contribute for various understandable reasons. This is why I ask you to prayerfully consider continuing or begin to financially support my ministry with monthly or one time financial contributions as well as your prayers. While my fund is located at the Plant City Florida SDA Church the Plant City Church does not contribute to my fund. They simply host my fund as I do Bible Work in the Plant City area as well as Florida and beyond.
You may send your tax deductible contributions to the Plant City SDA Church, P.O. Box 5379 Plant City, FL 33563. Please mark your check or envelope “Bible Worker Fund.”
You may also contribute online by going to the Plant City Adventist Online Giving page, and go to the third line item under “Local Church” which reads “Bible Worker.”
Recently Shayla Parsons wrote a letter she wanted to share to encourage people to support what she feels is a worthy ministry. Shayla writes:
Over the years Pastor Earnhardt has been a huge blessing to our family. We know we can always count on him for support, prayer, and encouragement. He is always happy to meet with us for Bible study and has given our children, as well as our nieces and nephews Bible study. We are so grateful to him and to those who contribute to his ministry, so he can continue to work with our family and others. Pastor Earnhardt truly enjoys sharing the love of Christ, and The Bible. Our daughter Angelina insisted on writing a letter in support of Pastor Earnhardt as well to help support his ministry. Thank you, The Parsons Family

As Shayla wrote and told me, when her daughter Angelina heard she was writing a letter in support of my ministry Angelina insisted on writing a letter of support as well. That really touches my heart! Angelina writes:
Hello, I’m Angelina Parsons. I am 10 years old and in the 5th grade. I’ve known Pastor Earnhardt for many years. He has given me, my siblings, and my friends Bible study every summer for the past few years. When the Coronavirus hit I thought we wouldn’t be able to study together but Pastor Earnhardt said, “Let’s meet on zoom!” Pastor Earnhardt also helped me get ready to be baptized, we have the best conversations after our lessons. He knows a lot of funny jokes! I know if we ever need anything he is always there for us that’s why we need him, and his ministry so he can continue helping others and teaching them about God.
As I mentioned my Bible Worker ministry needs support from all over the world as my ministry reaches all over the world. As well as doing Bible studies on Zoom and FaceTime in many areas beyond Florida, This ministry has also traveled well beyond Florida personally as well as by way of writing. My ministry has its own blog which regularly gets visits from over 173 countries around the world. I also write for the Sabbath School Net which is also read around the world. Recently Inge Anderson, the webmaster of Sabbath School Net wrote me a letter of encouragement I would like to share. Inge Writes:
Dear William,
I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for your faithful service to the world-wide ministry of Sabbath School Net, both by your weekly blog posts since January 2012 and your moderation of comments on the blog.
We really value your gift of making deep spiritual subjects simple and applying biblical teachings to everyday life. I remember that that is how Jesus taught, and it is especially important to a ministry like ours that includes many thousands of people for whom English is a second language. But it’s also important for those of us in English-speaking areas of the world who may have the tendency to debate fine points of doctrine or church traditions while forgetting the “weightier matters of the law.”
I can understand how not being a salaried employee working for the church can be a lot more challenging than being on salary while essentially doing the same work. But I know that God records your faithful service. Perhaps that has also helped to keep you close to the Lord who has promised to supply all your needs. I pray that our loving Father will impress those who benefit from your ministry to contribute funds to continue it.
May the Lord continue to bless you with spiritual insight, good health and sufficient wealth to meet your needs.Blessings, Inge Anderson

Thanks again to all those who have faithfully prayed for and financially supported my ministry so I can keep taking the Gospel to Florida and around the world! Thank you for prayerfully considering supporting this ministry in 2021 and beyond! To God be the glory!

Why Support a Bible Worker Who Isn’t Even in Your Area?
There are plenty of Bible Workers to support, so why should someone support my Bible Worker ministry, especially if I’m not even in your area? First of all, God may not be asking you to support my ministry. He may be asking you to support workers in your own area. There are many Bible Workers worthy of your support. At the same time God may also be asking you to support ministries outside of you area, including mine. Here are some things to prayerfully consider, if you are asking yourself why you should support my ministry while I am far away.
Here is a letter Steven Vargas sent me from Chile. He shares how my ministry has helped him in soul winning while thousands of miles away.

Steven Vargas, High school student in Chile.
My name is Steven Vargas, and I am a former student of Tampa Adventist Academy, where Pastor Earnhardt was my Bible teacher. In his classes, he would always give the class Bible [chain referenced] studies to complete. Each week a different topic for example, Baptism, The Second Coming, The Sabbath, etc. Later that year I moved to Chile, where I was not able to attend a Christian school. It was difficult to adapt to my new school, but with God’s help I was able to do it. One day, a friend came up to me and asked, “Why are you so different?” I answered and said, “I’m a Seventh Day Adventist…”.Later that week, my friend asked why I kept the Sabbath and as soon as I heard that question, I remembered the Bible studies I used to complete in class. I asked Pr. Earnhardt where I could find them, and he lead me to his website, where I was able to find the bible studies. I asked if he had them in Spanish, and turns out he did. I used this to my advantage, and I was able to spread the word of God thanks to Pr. Earnhardt’s website. Sadly, my friend changed schools, but I will never forget the look in his eyes when I was giving him the bible studies. I hope to see him in heaven when God comes to take us. I give thanks to God for letting me preach His word through the bible studies of Pr. Earnhardt, and I hope to gain more souls for God thanks to them in the near future. -Steven Vargas, High School Student, Chile
Possibly God is asking you to support this Bible Worker ministry because it is literally reaching around the world! As well as giving studies in the Tampa Bay area, I have also provided seminars in person as far away as Peru and Connecticut. I also mentor other Bible Workers in other areas, and I thank you for supporting them as well. The In Light of the Cross website gets hits from over 175 countries every year. I also write and moderate for the Sabbath School Net, which reaches many more thousands of souls around the globe.
Also please consider that the Plant City and Tampa Bay area is a mission field like any other, with souls needing to hear the gospel.
If you have prayed and felt God is leading you to financially support my Bible Worker ministry monthly or with a one time contribution, your support will be gladly appreciated! You may send your tax deductible contribution to the Plant City Seventh-day Adventist Church, P.O. Box 5379 Plant City, FL 33563. Please mark your check, “Bible Worker.”
Thank you to all my contributors past, present and future!
PS We are still working on online giving thank you for your patience. Meanwhile a few are giving from their online banking.
Exciting New Opportunities in my Ministry, Thank You For Your Continued Support!
After 11 wonderful years, serving the Tampa First Seventh-day Adventist Church, as full time Bible Worker and lay pastor, my tenure has come to an end. Well, so to speak. There is a plan for me to continue. The Tampa First church has faithfully supported my ministry for 11 years, and I can’t thank them enough for all the opportunities and memories. While I have been giving Bible studies, training seminars and evangelism seminars, working with the church, school, community and out of state and country mission projects in some many various ways over the years, the Tampa First Seventh-day Adventist Church has faithfully supported all my endeavors both local and abroad. They can no longer do this due to their own operating expenses. At the same time God is currently using my ministry to touch more lives than ever before! In just one of my weekly Bible study groups 8-11 un-churched souls attend every week. Others are currently preparing for baptism in my other study groups. We are having baptisms march 7, 28, and April 11 just in the immediate future.
However, that does not mean my ministry is over or that I am leaving the area. Pastor James Johnson, and the Plant City Seventh-day Adventist Church have proposed a way to keep me active the the Tampa Bay area and abroad. Please read Pastor James’ letter of appeal here, to help support my ministry with continued monthly donations.
My salary at the Plant City SDA Church will be supported strictly by donations. We need $5,000.00 a month. (This amount covers the employer’s part of social security as well as my part, and health and retirement benefits and workman’s comp as well as my modest salary.) As of right now we have just over $2,000.00 in pledges. And we have only just begun so this is very doable with God’s grace and generous giving. Under this plan, I will still be able to continue my work with Tampa First. Many people were hugging me last Sabbath, telling me how sorry they were that I was leaving. How ever, under this plan I won’t leave! I will continue my ministry at Tampa First as well as Plant City and the area schools and communities and around the world. I will continue
personal Bible studies and baptisms. Did you know in the last 11 years God has blessed me with around 300 baptisms? over 200 of those at Tampa First and others as far away as Peru? My Website reaches thousands around the world as well as my ministry with the Sabbath School Network.
I will also continue leading out in small group Bible studies and training others to do the same at Tampa Firsts SDA, Plant City SDA, Tampa Adventist Academy and beyond!
I will continue giving prophecy seminars as well as preaching and training others to preach and teach as well.

Jac, second from right, was in my class at Tampa Adventist Academy, on how to give Bible studies. This is a picture of him a couple years later, helping me teach a baptism class at Tampa Adventist Academy.

Lauren was also in my class at TAA on how to give Bible studies, and here is a picture of her later giving personal Bible studies to Julio, who was later baptized.
Your support to help me continue God’s ministry is greatly appreciated. So far, some have pledged $500.00 a month, while others have pledged $50.00 a month. One time gifts are also appreciated to help get the ministry started.
You can contribute now to the Plant City Seventh-day Adventist Church. PO box 5379 Plant City Florida 33563. In the check memo please write “Bible Worker Fund.” If you can contribute monthly, a note to that effect and how much would benefit us greatly! You can also print out Pastor James’ letter which includes a portion you can fill out, and return with your check.
Also if your church needs a revival seminar, evangelism seminar or training seminar I am available. You can contact me at Laypastor@TampaAdventist.net or 813-933-7505.
